1914 VINTAGE COLOUR LITHOGRAPH

From the original description - From Tot Hill, south-west from Headley, there are large open views in several directions. Box Hill, Ranmore Common and the distant land to the south, with the nearer stretch of Headley Heath and cornfields down the valley towards Mickleham : a grey rainy sky and one field of red wheat rippling from marone to russet and dull gold in contrast to the grey green of a field of oats beside it no chance of painting on that day, nor on another soon afterwards, and almost the same fortune pursued me when making the drawing at an earlier season in the year following.
