Beautiful hand colored engraved plate of birds. Done after the works of well known naturalists Alexander Wilson, Baron Cuvier, Oliver Goldsmith and others. - From a publication by William MacGillivray. The artist is not named on this print.

CONDITION: 1/2 inch tear at bottom corner near titles descriptive area. Suitable browning from age with spotting & soiling which is mostly on the margin area, otherwise still in Very Good Condition for this treasured and rare work. The colors are striking and bright. Images are sharp and clear. Blank on Reverse side. Scientific bird names are listed at the bottom with referring numbers to each bird.
