PARKLAND'S FARM IN SURREY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, 1914 VINTAGE COLOUR LITHOGRAPH

This rare print by the author/artist james S Ogilvy represents old english architecture and topography from the early 1900s.
The third farm mentioned was at first Green Dean, East Horsley, but in 1795 this was exchanged for East Parklands, a picturesque little farm between the chapel and Ockley, of which 1 have given a drawing. judging from old illustrations, the spire has been added within the last sixty years ; the pulpit with a sounding-board is eighteenth-century work and there are some traces of wall-painting on the south wall near the altar; there is a small gallery over the west door. The oldest portion of the church is the south wall with lancet windows and a priest's door. It is rather curious considering how much the chapel owes to John Evelyn, that his name does not appear in the list of benefactors.
