The beautiful decorative vignettes include fine engraved views of COSSASKS, ESQUIMAUX DOG-SLEDGE (ESKIMO DOG SLED), MOUNT HEKLA, WAPITI DEER, BEAVERS, FALLS OF NIAGARA, CONVOY OF DIAMONDS, ANCIENT MONUMENT OF MEXICO, NORTH AMERICAN INDIANS. The decorative border that surrounds the map is typical of a John Tallis production and is beautifully scrolled.

Shown on the map are Greenland, Russian America, British Territory (Canada), United States, Western Territory Texas, Mexico, Guatemala. Cuba, Haiti - Beautiful topography and counties named within the Provinces.

Approximate Overall Size Including Margin: 10 1/2 x 14 1/2 inches

CONDITION: Suitable browning appreciated from age. Very Good to Excellent Condition. Map image is crisp, clean, clear with excellent detail and in Very Good to Excellent Condition. Map has a centerfold. Blank on reverse side. This beautiful map would look great matted and framed. An art supply store can provide you with a selection of frames for old art treasures.
