A View of Foot's Cray Place in the County of Kent
Published in London 1773 for R. Goadby, J. Towers in Fore Street near Cripplegate.

Foots Cray Place, The exact date of this first house is not known, but six generations of the Walsingham family owned Foots Cray Place (alias Pike Place) up until c.1676. The house, was built in 1754 in the style of a Palladian villa on the instructions of the new owner Bouchier Cleeve where he created a noteworthy collection of art.
This original antique print was produced from copper plate engraving process. Tear on the left side of the print in the margin, but still in very good conditon for the age of this print.
