| Dr. George C. M. Roberts founded the Wesley Home in 1867 with the Methodist
and Episcopal Churches. United Methodists are invited to make a pilgrimage
to the Strawbridge Shrine June 6 for a re-dedication of the Strawbridge
House, the founding place of American Methodism. In 1866, Dr. George C.M.
Roberts and artist Thomas Coke Ruckle visited the Shrine in Carroll County. |
